So the big news lately has been the Ukrainian Incursion in the Sumy and Kursk region where Ukraine send 3000 of their best troops to make an incursion, not all at once ofc but its clearly an attack that is meant to give some good news but many has already asked what the plan was? Russia has according to Alexander Mercouris 100.000 somewhere in the north so the attack has no long time effect, its looks more like another attempt to create a different picture to the media than what really goes on.

Mercouris informed yesterday that 260 Ukrainian servicemen has been killed or injured, around 50 armored vehicles destroyed, including 7 tanks, 8 armored personal carriers, 31 armored fighting vehicles, 12 kosac vehicles, 2 striker, 6 motor vehicle and 1 eletronic warfare system. These number has during the day increase to around 600 dead or wounded and over 80 armored vehicles, there is very little information on how far they got in and how many vehicles they manage to capture, some said 3 the first day but russian sources claims that they manage to fend off the Ukrainian advances and with heavy casualties, the Western media has been very low key on information which is unusual, they gladly in the past made even the smallest advance a huge win in some spectacular fashion, but not this time, in fact alexander Mercouris informs that bild and other media who are hardcore pro Ukraine has been asking what the point was or is? There is a rumor of pipeline and also a Nuclear power plant deep into Kursk region but other than that it seems Ukraine are throwing alot of men in for some show or perhaps a diversion, but that seems unlikely since they have alot of trouble just holding their positions with Russia moving forward everyday, which brings us back to the question WHY?

The Russian Defense Ministry informed that Ukraine has lost 115.000 dead or wounded from June to July, in 2 month they surpassed the 4 month long Ukrainian offensive which failed hard and cost 90.000 dead and wounded in 4 month, but 115.000 in only 2 month is unbearable, no one can sustain those kind of losses and perhaps the incursion main function is to show signs of life but that is horrible, to throw some of their best troops away in a symbolic attack in order to hide the numbers of 115.000 dead or wounded in just 2 month. Something has to change or else Ukraine will collapse this year, they claim they are receiving 30.000 new troops every month but the numbers seems abit high and even worse if you lose almost 2000 a day then that is around 60.000 a month and is double of what they are recruiting, which is not sustainable.

I hope for Ukraine that the Kursk attack will be more than just a very short lived one and that there is a plan with it, but I must admit I dont see it, if they dont have anything else then perhaps its time we moved towards peace and also to admit that Ukraine will have to concede some territory, sadly USA and the West have no intention atm to concede anything and they also dont wanna talk anykind of peacetalk and even worse many politician has put their career on the line to keep fighting this war which should never have been allowed to happen, it could have been avoided with the Minsk or Istanbul talks and especially the Istanbul talks, which came so close back then, looks like a really good deal now but Russia is long past those plans and have a more strict requirements before a peaceplan can take place, just like Ukraine and the west has but atm Russia is winning so they dont have to force a peace plan, its on the West to get straight and admit the current situation in Ukraine and that Ukraine has to concede territory, this is my view at least.
