Not that long ago the Social Democrat received the worst polling data from Gallop for like 100 years or something of that nature and considering how hard she has moved to the right its not surprising at all, the issue now is that she tries to paint her time as the head of state as a counter to the movement towards the right we have seen since the many conflicts broke out, but she fails to see she is a part of that move since she has made a government with 2 right winged parties and has sold out in order to maintain power, that’s all she cares about is to be in “control” and to be in charge.

Sadly she cant see this her self, the many tax breaks to the rich and reforms of the educational systems and she has even aligned her self with the Democrats is USA but if you understand anything about the European political left or center left then the Democrats from USA would be a right winged party in Europa and this is something she does not understand or perhaps worse understand but pretend she is ignorant of this issue.

What is even worse she has abandoned the fight for the suppressed like the Palestinian where she has been very careful not to say to much because she has aligned her self with Joe Biden and therefor has chosen to be very quiet in that conflict even if it is very clear that as a Social Democrats you should side with a cease-fire but she does not or maybe she whispers it very quietly so no one can hear it.

At then we have the conflict in Ukraine which has helped move the conflict to the right, because of the conflict many countries are struggling and this has pushed a move away from the center-left or center-right towards either the far right or far left like we see in France and in Germany where the rise of the Alternative Fûr Deutschlands has come into being because of the policy of the Social democrats in Germany with the greens which has failed hard and is a prime example on the result of the Ukrainian conflict which Clara Daly very well predicted at the beginning of the conflict.

Again its not about supporting Ukraine or not, its about being against the wars and conflicts and here she has failed miserably because she chose Joe Biden and USA who again are right winged compared to European politics. Further more her ambition to become Nato General Secretary or the President for the Council, both failed and you can be sure she sold out hard in order to get those post like increasing our military budget by a lot and our donation to Ukraine ditto, now she has one big chance to get some of the international glimmer she wants and that is in 2025 from summer to winter the chairmanship of the European Councils which Victor Orban has atm, now it will go to the head of state in Denmark no matter what from summer 2025 to winter 2025 but this is also something the 2 right winged parties understand which means the Mette Frederiksen will AGAIN do anything to stay in power and the closer we get the worse it could be in terms of selling out and pretending otherwise.

If she should get the position she can do what Victor Orban has been doing traveling around the world and trying to sell a political project or perhaps even worse, the militarization of the EU which is already in the planning but she could try and pretend she is the one pushing it out in order to gain some capital and hopefully get the ladder upwards she so desperately dreams of, but will it be an EU post in the future or a big tech position which seems likely since she has sold out to the 1% in USA and the establishment there, but is a scenario I easily could see, some kind of a political project being pushed out and taken credit for and then her dream job traveling around the world talking to leaders or a huge big tech job, again something she has to sellout hard for in order to be considered just like she has in the past and dragged the Social Democrats in Denmark with her down the gutter but can she rise and rebrand herself in 2025? Will the right wingers exploit her ambition to the fullest and hammer the social policy’s in Denmark and also the green project which always seems to be pushed out into the future, a plan to be CO2 neutral in like 2040 or something of that nature, reality is Mette Frederiksen has failed the environment and green projects cause she does not gain any political capital from it, just like she does not get any political capital from speaking for the Palestinians or try to get a cease-fire or just a plan b in the conflict in Ukraine, and since there is nothing for her to gain she doesn’t do it, that is the mindset of a personel and ambitious driven politician who only cares about climbing the social ladder and has no real ideology, she is a neo-liberal who is 100% being a pragmatic and thus represent the right more than the left. But lets see what the future brings, how hard the right wingers will cash in of her ambition and if she will be the one pushing a militarization into EU in late 2025 even as a Social Democrat.

It really is odd times and there is some weird reverse happening and has happened for quite some time and a good example is the greens in Germany who in the 1960-1970 were against putting missiles up in Germany during the cold war, now the greens in Germany is pushing hard for this to happened today because of the conflict in Ukraine. But a short look at the wars from the Neo-cons, who are hardcore conservative right, would tell a story of horrible wars and conflict, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and Libya, anyone on the left should be against wars but ofc being against wars doesn’t mean you can support with money and other stuff but that you also try and look for an off ramp or peace plan in the coming future instead of taking 1 position and stay there like a spoiled child… Where are the adults in the room? Where are the peace and love warriors? as Cornel West likes to say. Today it is the Social Democrats who creates the right and pushes everything towards the right, Mette Frederiksen is part of the problem whether she likes it or not.
