Lastest news from the front is that Mirnograd has come under heavy pressure from the Russians, Mirnograd had around 2000 Ukrainian troops 10 days ago, some who escaped pokrovsk, in the area but they are cut off from supply roads and can only get supply’s from drones now and are being heavily targeted by the Russians, it could collapse fast depending on how the Russians approach this. The Ukrainians put 10.000 troops in the Pokrovsk region just before it fell but those troops has not been able to do anything, the Russians grip is to strong and there’s a big morale difference amoung the troops, one the Russians get a hold on something they very rarely let go of it without a massive fight and this seem to be the case with both Pokrovsk and Kupiansk.

In the region of Zaporochye the Russians are taking alot of small villages around 15-20 km from the city of Zaporochye it self, but it will still be some time before the Russians start a siege on the city it self, they still have to take Orekhov first and even as they have almost surrounded it it will still take some time to take that fortified place. But the picture remains the same across the battlefield, the Russians are pushing and slowly taking village by village and city by city, soon the battle will move from the Pokrovsk area to closer to Kramatorsk in one place and ofc Zaporochy City in another place, it looks grim for the Ukrainians.

Outside the battlefield things are going expectedly, Trump is trying to push for peacve by asking the Ukrainians to give away of some territory in turn for a peace deal, it doesn’t seem like a good deal at first glance BUT the Russians are winning the war and could decide to take a place like Odessa too if Ukraine deny’s the peacedeal, Russia has a historic link with Odessa and it’s one of the remaining coastral city’s for Ukraine and if they loose that then they are landlocked and will have to pay and get permissions to use the sea and get acces to the global marked, this would be catastrophic for Ukraine so a deal now doesn’t look that bad if you take further development in the war into consideration, so it looks bad but is maybe the best option for Ukraine, the only way they can get some territory back is if Russia collapse financially and thus can’t afford to keep fighting but that doesn’t look good despite 19-20 sanctions packaged from the EU and USA, even trying to force China and India to stop trading with Russia but that has backfired and is pushing China and India closer together even if this is the opposite of what USA wants. they want to devide China and India but the problem is India is pround of their indepence and don’t like others to tell them what to do and who to trade with, at the same time they wanna trade with everyone and avoid polarizing against someone and this ofc benefits Russia who are making oil and military arms deal with India as we speak and are forming strong bonds.

Zelenskyy will most likely say no to the peacedeal from Trump, even if the peacedeal is being seperated into 4-5 documents in order to make it easier to agree to some part of the peacedeal and not have to agree to all of it, but EU has adviced Zelenskyy not to agree to part ways with any territory cause they hold on to the most hardline position even if the realities in the battlefield favours the Russians very much. This makes it very hard to get any progress on the peacedeal and could prolong the war and thus increase the loss of territory to Russia if they have to keep fighting and take more area’s. If Russia has to go all the way to Kiev and win the battle by taking it then Russia will most likely make really hard demands to Ukraine, some talks has said they want to federalize the country meaning creating several small area’s with each of it own control and leadership which will devide the Country and make it impossible to ever pose a threat to Russia. Understand this is the worst case scenario that the Russians are thinking of, to federalize the country like USA with smaller states and regions making it harder to pose any threat to Russia.
