We start on the battlefield, the last new are that Pokrovsk and Kupiansk are in serious crisis, there is a total of 5.000 troops surrounded in Kupiansk and the nearby villages and an Ukrainian General has ordered them to escape if possible and leave their positions, now it’s important that this general goes against the normal hardline position which is to fight til the end, General Syrskyi is among those generals who would have ordered them to fight til the bitter end and that can still happen but for now the order is to retreat and break free from the encirclement. There is also about 5000 troops in Pokrovsk who are trapped and here the situation is more dire, cause none other than Putin has ordered the Russians to block any attempt to break the encirclement, he wants to force them to surrender or fight til the end and so situation is very bad for Ukraine cause Russia has the place completely under control, it would require an effort from the outside and indside to break free and that is very unlikely, there is already a rumour that the Azov brigade was ask to try and break the encirclement in Kupiansk but they refused because of the harsh situation and complete lockdown by the Russians. So up to 10.000 Ukrainian soldiers are in trouble and cut off from the supply roads and surrounded by the Russians forceand even Zelenskyy has admitted that the Pokrovsk is in big trouble.

Fighting is also going on in other places like Liman, Sivirsk and another place where the Russians have pushed into the center of the places and are pushing hard to evict the Ukrainian troops in those places. It won’t be long before Kupiansk and Pokrovsk falls and then there will only be a few small towns and city’s before Russia would have captured Donbass and then the West and USA won’t have that to bargain with in the negotiations which has hit a dead end, USA and the West wants a ceasefire whiloe Russia deny’s this ceasefire and thus it will have to be fought out on the battlefield for the time being.

Russia has announced a new super missile, not one meant for the war in Ukraine but more in general as a deterrant namely the Burevestnik missiles which is powered by nuclear which gives in insane range and can hit any place on the earth fired from Russia, it is designet to be able to carry a nuclear warhead and thus is not meant for the battlefield in Ukraine but serves as a function to scare off outside pressure or threat. On the topic of missiles then Russia has made it clear that use of long range missiles in Russia by Ukraine will be seen as a red line and that Russia will respond with force, this goes for the Flamingo, Taurus, Tomahawks or any other long range missile used in the war, all will be responded to with escalation and I think it’s safe to guess that the Oreshnik will be one of the responses cause it has been on the manufactoring bench for some time and will have been produced in high numbers and it has only been tested shortly in Ukraine a few times, it’s flies hypersonic and can manuovre while flying down towards a target making it almost impossible to hit with air defense.
