So the latest news is that Sergey Lavrov and Marco Rubio had a phonecall and in that phonecall they disagreed on what the content of the Budapest meeting should be about, Rubio wanted a ceasefire talks while Lavrov rejected the idea out right, this means that negotiations has broken down and that Budapest will be cancelled, this in effect will mean that Ukraine and Russia will have to fight it out and settle it on the battlefield.
Furthermore the Tomahawks will be delivered to Ukraine although with a little change namely that USA will train personal to be able to operate the launchers and this will mean it will take a month or more before we will see the Tomahawks on that battlefield so Putin phonecall did give a little result, evenb if they had hoped for a big no to Zelenskyy but that ultimately failed, it seems Trump has finally taken over the war from Joe Biden even if he still calls it Joe Bidens war but with the involvement of Trump on many levels including an oil sanctions against Russians oil companies will mean that if India wants to continiue buying crudeoil from Russia they will have to work around the sanctions and that is probably what they will be planning with Russia. Unless a work around can be arranged then I do think Russia will suffer economically in the longterm and question is how fast they can win on the battlefield cause Ukraine are throwing in everything to defend to the bitter end even if they are slowly but surely lossing.
The EU together with Ukraine are planning a 12 points peacedeal to be precented in D.C. very soon and ofc one of the first points will be a ceasefire as we have heard so many times before, but for Russia this doesn’t make any sense since Ukraine will come out stronger and more ready to fight after 1 month of a ceasefire and thus making everything harder for Russia, this is ofc also why they want the Ceasefire deal. Russia had in their last deal offer to Trump offered a partial ceasefire in return for the Donbass area, but since they are already in the process of capturing Donbass then soon this offer will expire and then the EU/West won’t have that options to negotiate over it anymnore, Russia will most likely call it a huge victory if they manage to get the whole of Donbass, they have 95% of Luhansk and 75% of Donetsk which contains the 2 main area in Donbass.
We are not hearing much from the battlefield other than the Russians are still pushing, the phonecalls between Trump and Putin and then Marco Rubio and Sergey Lavrov has been the talking point lately and maybe in the next few days we will learn more about the battlefront and how it is going.
Keep the flame for truth burning and remember your Seatbelts! Stay Safe! No fate…
