The situation in Potrovsk is still bad for Ukraine, the supply roads into the last remaining soldiers is cut off and there is only some open fields in which the soldiers perhaps can escape through at night with less chance of getting killed. The situation in Kupiansk is still critical and it’s only a matter of days before it has fallen, perhaps the Ukrainian will try to hold a building or two in order to claim that the city has not fallen yet, this has happened before in other places where Ukraine spends a great deqal of manpower and recources in order to maintain a position that looks good in the media but at a high cost, this could be the same for Kupiansk and we will see about Potrovsk but that is still perhaps a week or weeks before it falls but it will fall at the current rate.

More news has hit the net about the Tomahawks missiles, Holland hass bought 200 of them and the plan is that they will send it to Ukraine at some point once things are ready, Trump uses the Tomahawks as a bargaining chip in negotiations with Putin, he wants Putin to come to the negotiation table but that wount happen, Putin will still negotiate but at this point there is no need to have a meeting with Zelenskyy until some of the negotiation details have been approved by lower rank officials, Trump has failed to pressure Zelenskyy who is aided by the Europeans in order to stay at an impossible position and thus there is no reason for Putin to negotiate at this point, the battle has to continiue until there is a new situation on the battlefield, like if Russia manages to capture more territory, although it has to be noted that they are conducting an attrition warfare where the goal is to slowly grind and ultimately destroy Ukraine’s abillity to fight or wanted to fight any more.

A small story about the Flamingo missiles has hit the net, it was testet in the field and Ukraine sent 1… 1 missiles towards a russian target and ofc you guessed right, it was shot down by the Russian anti air missile system, you have to wonder what they are thinking, as it the UK developed somekind of superweapon only to be a better version of the HIMARS that is still easy to take down with the current missile systems. I hope Ukraine wises up and uses 20-30 together with 400 drones or more at a time to get a result, this is what Russia is doing, they send 500 drones and 30-40 cruisemissiles at a time with great succes and it was reportet that in one week Russia hit 6 times, 6 out of 7 days they hit with massive drone and missile strike and blackoutet most of the eastern city’s light and destroyed military installations or producktions and also hit railroad systems to make it harder for Ukraine to move material around.

Putin has also stated that the first reply to the Tomahawks will be more anti air defense systems but didn’t reply to what other escalation that Russia will do if the Tomahawks will be used, even Joe Biden didn’t allow for the use of Tomahawks because of fear of escalations but Trump has lost the battle with the Neo-Cons and is going on a path of escalation which could turn ugly if it isn’t stopped in time. My guess is that Russia wil deploy the Oreshnik cruise missiles which is more devastating than the ones they already uses but one should also remember that Russia is holding back because they need to be ready just in case it all escalates and more countries enter the way, Russia is prepared for worst case scenario and has the escalatory superiority as Obama put it.
