It has been a while since my last post so alot has happened, firstly some supposedly decoy drones ended up in Poland and created a rather large media storm, according to Belarous, who initially informed Poland about the drones, then it was an accident by Russia, though russia them selves said very little about it. Poland demanded an article 4 which is the step before article 5 which is when a Nato member is under attack and ask’s for military help in the matter, article 4 is a call to a meeting discussing a possible article 5 so it’s pretty serious, but the goal was from Poland and the EU to pressure Trump to perhaps create a no fly zone over Ukraine which hasn’t happened, Trump has kept it low key and said him self that it was a possible mistake.

What Trump has done instead is to call for the EU and Nato to stop buying Russian oil, Turkey has it’s own pipeline which it get’s it’s cheap oil from Russia and the EU is buying oil from Indie who get’s it from Russia. India has a nice trade going on in which it buys crude oil to it’s refineries and create good oil which it then sells to Europa and others at a good profit. This is what Trump want’s stopped and if that doesn’t happen then he threatens to leave the whole Ukraine project because it would be a waste of time and money if Russia can survive sanctions and tariffs by selling to Nato and EU them selves. The EU is having large economical problems in the big countries like UK and France and even Germany has to go under debt in order to ramp up it’s military industriel complex, France might have to get a bailout from IMF if they don’t get their economy in order.

Let’s move to the battlefield, here we have some big news, first let’s move to Kupiansk cause alot has happened there lately, first Russia used a pipeline to sneak in troops behind enemy lines like they did in Avdiivka and Sudzha, it surprises me that they are able to reuse this trick again and again and this time the effect was massive, according to Russian sources this resulted in Ukraine having to retreat from several positions and leave the town it self, althrough there are still some troops in a few area’s holding on to very strong positions and they will be the last to leave, this is at least the guess from several online sources that say that they too will retreat at some point but this means that Russia has control of most of Kupiansk now and that it looks like they will capture it sooner rather than later.

The fighting in Sivirsk has reached the center of city and here too the Russians are moving forward and fighting is still taking place around the city it self. Pokrovsk is also still bad for Ukraine, Russia has taken 50% of the city and have isolated the Ukrainian fighters inside which means if they decide to retreat at some point it will be under gunfire from Russia, so they have trapped some of the Ukrainian soldiers inside and they also still has a very strong grib on the surroudings of the City, Ukraine has attempted many counterattacks but by en large they have all failed, sometimes it has been abit back and fourth meaning that there has been some progress but then Russia counters them selves before they can get settled in and then recaptures what ever was lost and this can go on back and fourth for some time, but overall Russia has the Hold and Initiative in the area.

We haven’t heard much from the new Flamengo or any other missiles from Ukraine which can fly far into Russia, especially the German designed ones could hit Moscow and St.Petersburg, they are made after the German Taurus missiles but Germany has removed all designs that gives it away as a German one cause Russia has complained about the use of the Taurus cause it requires direct involvement of Germany to launch and hit a target and therefor Russia says it’s direct involvement by Germany. I havent seen what name they have given the German designet one yet but it is probably out there already.

Zelenskyy made a press conferance in which he stated the new terms of victory for Ukraine, it’s really a sad one cause now the Victory terms set by Zelenskyy is SURVIVAL, Survival of the Ukrainian state. If Survival of the state is the minimum requirement then why don’t they accept the terms Russia is putting out there for the 4 regions in Ukraine and call it a win. If survival is the new low bar then even if they gave away, Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporochye then Ukraine would still have a majority of Ukraine left, If they keep fighting and reject any talks with Russia on conceeding some territory the Russians will slowly but surely increase the stakes, like asking for Odessa at some points which the Russians hold dear and perhaps even Krakov which is the 2. largest city in Ukraine. This can be avoided by conceeding some territory and remember Russia has said they were willing to negotiate land swaps which could be important for Ukraine at this point. That might disappear in the future so Ukraine has to decide soon what it will be, keep fighnting and loose more territory or meet the Russians at the negotiating table and acutually get something back in land swaps and call it a victory, if the new low bar is just survival.
