To everyone’s surprise then there is a summit to be held within the next day or 2 between Trump and Putin, Zelenskyy has also been invited but the EU has been left in the darkness, the big question is, what are they gonna talk about? It will be about Ukraine but who is approaching who? Who blinked first? Did Trump go closer to Putin’s demands for a ceasefire or was it Putin who is giving in? The Americans claims it was the Russians who asked for the summit while the Russians are saying it was the Americans, to be fair it’s less important who did what but what they actually can achieve, will there be a ceasefire or will something else happen as we have hit the deadline for a reply from Putin regarding the ceasefire.

Any direct talk between Trump and Putin is welcomed as it means something serious is going on, ofc Zelenskyy is saying that the sanctions threat is working and that Putin is caving in, but I am not so sure just yet, let wait and see what they talk about, Russian has demanded that for any ceasefire to happen then all military aid to Ukraine must also stop during the ceasefire AND no intelligence sharing between the West and Ukraine must happen, this is by large what Putin has demanded to avoid Ukraine using the ceasefire to improve their positions and military situations, if the West has agreed to this we will have to wait and see, but I will guess that this is what has happened.
