The biggest news for Ukraine must be that USA is resuming the military aid to Ukraine, but there is a very important detail, namely that it only continues because Trump manage to make a deal with Nato so that the military aid is sent to AND PAID by Nato and its members and then goes straight to Ukraine. This enables trump to stop paying for the money but also allows him to give in to the Neo-cons and allow for the military aid to continue even if he did think about stopping the aid, but with Nato paying for it then he can pad him self at the shoulders cause this is will a very good deal for USA and a very expensive one for Nato and its members. The EU countries in Nato must be very worried cause most countries besides Scandinavia are having big issues with their economy already as it is, they have to get their Nato military spending up to 5% in the first place and then on top of that they have to pay for all the military aid that is going from USA to Ukraine which will wreck the economy over a long term.

Lets go to the battlefield, here Russia is still dominating and slowly winning the war, it might still take a year or so but they are slowly grinding down Ukraine and the Military intelligence chief for Ukraine Budanov has said that end august will look very bad for the status of the Ukrainian forces as things goes and in fact Ukraine is starting to work on a plan to move the Government and Zelenskyy out of Ukraine to govern from abroad, this would and should panic most people in the west cause it would be an admission that things are going really bad for Ukraine. Almost every day Russia is hammering Kiev and other cities with Drones and missiles and the drone number is around 700 on a single day and Russia is working hard to produce, so that number will increase to 1000 drones a day. Ukraine has finally admitted that they cant shoot down the Iskander M or the other hypersonic missiles Kinjhal, they manage in the past to hit a total of 2 Iskander by random luck, every other Iskander M hits their target every time. Now these attacks only stops for a day so that the Russians can asses the damage they did and plan where to strike next so there isn’t much pause for Ukraine at all.

Ukraine has attempted a huge counter-offensive in the Sumi region, the rumour is zelenskyy wants an attack similar to the one that went into Kursk region but it failed massively, the Russian held strong and defeated the attacks every time, so Zelenskyy won’t have any temporary succes to boast about which seems the only concern for him as they are loosing the war, he just wants someting he can use to pretend that its not going as bad as it is, but reality is much worse, it must be demoralizing for the soldiers with these attacks with no real purpose other that delaying a defeat, the last Kursk invasion ended in a disaster in the end, but during it small success Zelenskyy could boast of success and this is the only thing on Zelenskyy’s mind atm, any small win to use in propaganda while they are loosing all across the battlefield.

But some good news for Ukraine is coming from Germany, here Merz has promised to take over the cost of the Patriot missiles cost for USA, this has been done secretly to avoid backlash in the German media because atm Germany is de-industrializing and many are angry of the lack of political responds to it. Germany has also agreed to send their own long range cruise missile called Taurus, this is also a secret but they did confirm sending over 3 digits of long range missiles to Ukraine in the near future, everyone believes this to be the Taurus missiles which has a really long range but also has to be fired and controlled by Germany it self, this has made Russia respond with critic in the past cause they see it as a direct involvement of Germany in the conflict and that’t why Germany are being very secretive about all the details but over 100 taurus missiles will help Ukraine a good deal but it will not change the outcome atm, Russia is winning even if it goes slowly.

A dirty war has broke out between Russian and Ukraine, Russia is responding to all the many attempts and some success in killing Russian Generals and people of interest, this was replied by Russia who killed a high ranking intelligence officer responsible for the attacks inside Russia, he was gunned down by 2 people, a man and a women who both were killed afterwards, the handler was not caught and these type of attacks with silencer will probably happen more now that Russia has entered the dirty war, normally Putin rarely uses these kind of attacks because he dislike it, considering the many attacks on his life you can understand why, but now the Russian patience has run out and a dirty war will begin in real and I suspect that Russia has more resources to do it but we will see in time. I think earlier that Russia has said that Zelenskyy isn’t a target mainly because he is considered a very irrational leader and keeping him in as the leader for Ukraine helps Russia, this is at least their argument for not targeting Zelenskyy in the past but if it stays like this I dunno.
