The now former Kurdish resistance group is lay laying down arms by order of the leader Abdullah Öcalan, they instead rejoin the resistance with more peacefull ways and that is wonderful news, whether or not the long time enemy of Tyrkey will accept this from the Kurds is another thing, the Turks consider them a terrorist organisation and I wouldn’t be surprised if they have a hard time accepting this new course from PKK.

Slavoj Zizek hails Abdullah Öcalan for this move and calls him our times Mandela, former South African resistance fighter who became a sensation over a short period as he fought with peaceful ways from prison, and just like Mandela Abdullah Öcalan is in prison. Hopefully the world will embrace this news from PKK as a good thing and also recognize that the Kurds has much to offer in terms of women struggle and that are even to be quite advance on tech stuff in the region, so hopefully their new direction will be accepted by the vast majority and Turkey should accept this new pathway with joy, since it means they won the war in effect, I hope this will be enough for the Turks who are known for complicating things on a geo-political level.
