Thursday a meeting in Istanbul were suppose to have taken place with direct negotiation between Ukraine and Russia, but for some reason Zelenskyy went to Ankara to talk to Erdogan first and in the media he challenged Putin to come to Turkey and talk with Zelenskyy, but that ofc never happen cause Putin is a serious man and doesn’t do weird symbolic gesture like Zelenskyy where doing, instead Putin had picked a strong team of negotiators ready in Istanbul but whether or not if the Ukrainian team came to Istanbul I’m still unsure of.

It’s more likely Zelenskyy used this whole event to try and trap trump meaning they wanted it to appear as if Putin didn’t come to the meeting, and that Putin had chosen some random people to negotiate with the team from Ukraine, in this way he could claim a symbolic victory claiming that Putin weren’t serious and that Trump should sanctioned Russia a lot as a punishment or pressure just like the EU, Nato and the Neo-cons want, they want a break in relationship between Trump and Putin so they can get back to the warmongering ways with more arms and money from USA.

Will it work? Probably, considering the massive pressure from the West and especially the Neo-cons, but it was the first direct meeting between the 2 fighting countries so ofc you don’t start of with talks between Zelenskyy and Putin, that was just a circus started by Zelenskyy and people from EU probably, and I don’t think Ukraine can complain about who Russia picked for their negotiating team, the fact that Sergey Lavrov was not it in may have surprised or annoyed Ukraine a bit but again this was suppose to be the first talks between Ukraine and Russia, Russia has plenty of highly qualified people to do the job whereas Ukraine is a smaller country and therefor has less people to pick from, but reading that Zelenskyy was challenging Putin to meet is just pure circus and stupid, but it fits the trap laid out for Trump, so lets see if he falls for it or what happends next, Im not even sure at this state how much talk actually happened in Turkey yesterday but later today we will learn more about the whole circus if Trump falls for the trap.
