It’s no secret I dislike Zelenskyy for his positioning and stance during this war but I must agree with him on the mineral deal, its simply not worth signing. For once it not only rare earth minerals, its also oil and gas and infrastructure like ports that is included in the deal, secondly the deal has no time limit or ceiling, it runs forever and thus if Zelenskyy were to sign it he would be giving up all oil,gas and mining right forever to USA. Thirdly the money Trump wants from Zelenskyy was from when Biden where president and he didn’t give it as a loan or debt, he was genuinely giving it as help, the reason why Trump wants the money back is because EU has only been giving money as loan or debt to Ukraine cause they stink, pardon my french, that’s why trump wants money back cause he looks like a bad business man if he doesn’t, that’s the simple truth, but I would never sign such a bad deal and neither should zelenskyy, if USA wants the money back it should be done differently and not like this mineral deal.

One could argue that its bad from USA to even want the money back after they first gave it for free, but that doesn’t change anything when it comes to the mineral deal, its really bad and should be ignored at all cost. Ukraine must remember that Trump can take away intel information again if he wants too, even worse he could deny certain weapons to be given to Ukraine, like USA is working on Supersonic cruise missiles cause Russia has them, if USA develops them then Ukraine would want to have them too and that requires to be on the good side on Trump, no matter on what mood trump is in, so perhaps taking the 300 billion as loan or debt is to be considered, Ukraine already owe USA 2.2 trillion dollars so what is another 300 billion right? Another drop in the ocean of debt.
