As we speak Israel are bombing Gaza and they claim to have killed Hamas “officials” as well as a lot of innocent civilians, it really saddens me that the fighting has begun again, I was hoping that the secret meeting by Trump and his team would create a bridge to phase 2 of the original cease-fire deal which would have released all the hostages and secured a more permanent peace, now I am unsure why Israel broke off the original plan or whether they claim it was provoked or that Hamas failed to live up to their part of the deal but from what I can tell it seems like it was the Israeli’s who broke the cease-fire and original deal.

I’m still hoping that a bridge can be made but maybe I’m being naive, I long for some peace for the Palestinian people and ofc also for Israel, I want this conflict to end and sooner rather then later, its so hard to read how dumb things are and I’m also having a hard time with Hamas who made a terrorist attack on the 7th of October 2023 but still 46.000 has died on the Palestinian side and most of them are women and children… that puts things into perspective and also has made me stand with the Palestinians even if I am rather uneducated in all of the event from the end of the world war 2 and until today. Lot of pain and suffering…
