As we speak the US and Ukrainians are waiting for a response from Russia on a 30 day of cease-fire, the reason it might be a no from Russia is because they are winning on the battlefield and 30 days of cease-fire will give the Ukrainians alot of time to re-arm and re-group and prepare for what ever is next and perhaps even make plans of their own. Now if you are a Russian you will prefer to have the advantages and pressure on the Ukrainians as much as possible, the very fact that Russia has the initiative in almost every place is very strong and the moment they sign that cease-fire it will be over for a month and they will have to regain it again afterwards.

Now there still is a chance that Russia will say yes, pure simply because they want peace but they also has some red lines that they want to uphold and these are no Nato for Ukraine and some territorial concession by Ukraine also, these two are very top of the Russian list but that is not the only things, but they are the big ones, im not sure Ukraine can or rather want to give in on those two even if the people of Ukraine wants peace and even with some territorial concession but Zelenskyy and the negotiators are not prepared to give in on those demands, especially the EU+Zelenskyy has been very much on a pathway to fight it out even if they risk loosing it all, imagine risking all of the future of Ukraine instead of trying to get a peace deal that can save Ukraine and still have a country to be called Ukraine.

I for once hope for a peace deal, one the reflect the current conditions on the battlefront which is very fair if you ask me, I understand there is alot of emotions and feeling on the line too but this war should never have been allowed to start nor should it have been allowed to come to fruition. I Blame Joe biden and his Neo-Cons in Antony Blinken and Jake Sullivan, this trie are to blam for it, they wanted to have a proxy war and they got it, who paid for it? Ukraine’s people, men women and children, just because they wanted to weakend Russia, Obama rightfully said that Russia has Escalatory superiority and he was so right and the result we see now in all its detail.
