One of the biggest rumors going on atm is that the EU wants to create a huge slush fund for Ukraine namely 700 billion Euro’s, if true it will be far more than Ukraine has gotten so far, it will help Ukraine a lot but also extend the war for some time, but understand that Ukraine’s biggest issue is men and not materiel, Ukraine is loosing 1600-2000 men daily and only recruit 1000 on a daily basis, this is the biggest issue and 700 billion Euro cannot fix that, Zelenskyy has tried calling up the 18-25 but he was to afraid politically to do so, so instead he offered a contract with 2000 dollars per month for people from 18-25 to get into the army. How effective this will be in getting the younger people in I don’t know but I doubt that people will go for it, I don’t think they will go into the army and leave a good paying job to risk die in the war.

In the Kursk region the Russians are pushing to encircle Sudzha, in fact it was going so fast that Ukraine had to send in elite marine units to stop the Russians progress but for ho long they can succeed I dunno, in general it is the Russians who are pushing but because of the weather it has been relative slow lately and Ukraine tried their own offensive in the Kursk region but it failed miserably.

Zelenskyy is angry and has ignored the deal for 500 billions rare earth minerals that Zelenskyy him self brought to the table, but he thinks he is being treated unfairly by Trump and that is easy to see why he would feel that, but he himself suggested rare earth minerals to Trump so its also his own doing. One can perhaps argue that 500 billions is to high and a number around 300 is more fair, even if Ukraine owes USA 2,2 Trillions dollars. What will come of this deal we will see in the near future, but Zelenskyy should be careful of scorning USA cause they are still important to the peace deal and also how it will go down.
