This weekend the Germans went to the voting booth and the result was as predicted by many, CDU and Mertz was the main winner but AFD double their numbers and also won in their own way. CDU and SPD and the Greens will most likely create a government together to avoid the far right AFD. This will mean that politics will remain the same at least in regards to Foreign policy, but it is worry some that AFD doubled their numbers cause they will be hard to ignore in the future if they keep improving like they do atm.
