One thing is certain, JD Vance and Trump has rattled the EU a lot with their recent remarks, EU is like a boxer that has just got hit hard by the opponent and has to regroup and prepare for what is to come next. EU just lost their only bargaining chips but the real question did their really have any to begin with? Is this not just reality that has hit EU and Zelenskyy in the face? For a long time they have positioned themselves at the furthest away possible from realities on the battlefield, but they did so because of tactics but in terms of strategy they failed miserably, they relayed on USA 100% but only in the belief that they had their backings and under Joe Biden that was perhaps the case but even here I doubt it.

But now without any security guarantees EU has painted them selves into a corner they cant get out of, in fact they would rather let Ukraine loose the war than move towards peace but we will see how far they will take it, they are saying rightly so that EU and Ukraine should be involved in the peace talks and that is true but the conditions for this peace talks has been changed and EU has nothing to bring to Ukraine, they lost everything when they lost the security guarantees and when Vance said that there will be NO Nato for Ukraine. Despite this EU will perhaps still position themselves far away from the peace talks going on atm, if only to try and influence them a bit and perhaps give something to Ukraine but I think that idea is a lost cause, the brutal realities after Trump and Vance statements are that USA and Russia will work out something and then USA will force it down upon Ukraine and EU will have to stand by and do nothing, why you ask? Cause EU is a colony of USA and therefor cant do anything, we failed in creating our own military in EU which means we have no security guarantees to give to anyone cause our army’s atm would crumble at the sight of the Russian army and melt away fast in any war and if any bodies return to EU countries then it will be very unpopular in the countries, think about how bad the political realities are in UK, France, Germany and add them by double or triple if EU tries to offer military aid to Ukraine, there will be an uproar at home and no government could survive for long since the sanctions work in both ways, Russia has manage to find a new market in Asia and especially China so they can survive, EU cannot cause we are stuck in the old ways.

The Brics+ also contribute to changing the realities for the future and here the global south lead by Russia and China, India, South Africa and Brazil as the original countries but add to that many many more countries. Even USA fears this cause if they decide at some point to leave the dollar reserve it could hurt the USA a lot. So on the long game Russia and China are far in front in regards to EU and USA could also easily be overtaken by them in matter of a decade or so, the polarisation of the world has helped the global south and hurt the old establishment powers who live in the old days still.
