Liquified Natural Gas has become the new black, but the problem with it is that it is more polluting than Coal because it unleashes methane gas which is very damaging, in fact it is 80 times more damaging than CO2 so this new fascination is a turn for the worse when trying to combat the climate issues and so on. The big issue if ofc that it doesn’t unleash CO2 as much and this makes it look good for people or countries who focuses on the CO2 when talking about climate change and trying to reach goals for the CO2 Quota, but we need a Methane gas Quota ASP cause it is more damaging for nature than CO2, 80 times like I have explained which makes Coal produktion more clean than Fracking which is the method of getting the LNG up from the underground.

Another big issue is the direct destruction of Ground water that is filled with gas from the fracking methane which pumps water down to the gas pockets and then sucks up as much water as it can, leaving a lot of waste and gas water in the underground which in return pollutes the underground water, try see if you can find the documentary called Gas-Land, it has been on YouTube at one point, it shows people putting fire to the water fosset which ignites and creates a constant flame, try imaging that in your kitchen sink or where ever, crazy that it has been allowed, not to mention in the area of fracking the soils sinks abit into the ground creates a very chaotic scenery of the area where fracking has occurred.

All in all a very bad idea for the environment and also the climate change with methane being unleashed straight to the air, and worse is it is popular today, EU is about to trade more LNG from USA in order to avoid tarifs, at least this is the thinking behind trying very expensive LNG, Liquified Natural Gas, and ofc people can pretend they don’t pollute that much with CO2 which is true but in realness then its actually more polluting than Coal which is insane to think of.
