Lets start with the news I added last time namely that Ukraine has lowered the conscription age from 25 to 18, this means that alot of the young people now are being force into the war to fight from seemingly bad position. The reason why i bring up this news i because Military Summary on youtube rightly pointet out that every time Ukraine calls in more men to the war, they go on an offensive, this has been true in the past and this time is no different, but before we go to that part i wanna say that Zelenskyy has had a political reason not to call up the youngest ad midst growing push back to the war, a poll also recently showed around 50 % wanted peace and not war so Zelenskyy’s popularity isent as strong anymore and I might add he was elected because he didn’t want a war, look were we are now.

Back to the Ukrainian Offensive or perhaps more correctly counter offensive! Cause reports are saying that in the northern area in Kursk region, Ukraine attempted something but on a smaller scale than a real Offensive, Reports say 1-2 attacks with 100-200 men got fought off and failed in they attack but the size suggest it might be just a decoy and that a real Offensive will take place soon somewhere else or perhaps in the kursk region still, but some speculate belgorod region or Zaparochya region. Now Kursk region is a good guess cause its not going so well there for Ukraine, they are down to 1/3 of the area they once captured and Russia are now only a few km from Sudja which is the only real “Big” place they are holding. Only time will tell if these 2 attacks were part of an offensive or if it will take place in a different area, Im guessing that there will be more cause Ukraine needs to put up a fight and Zelenskyy calls it an asymetric war, Im guessing he is referring to the failing defensive in the donbass and then the Kursk Offensive in the north which Zelenskyy has talked up alot but we will see.

Russia has captured or liberated Kurakhove in the Donbass region, it was defended by 15.000 of Ukraines best men but according to the Russian ministry of Defense around 80% or 12.000 are dead or wounded after the capture of Kurakhovo, this is massive and creates a so call “Operational Space” which means Russia has more room to manoeuvre in and that it will increase operationel speed in this area as well. Despite Zelenskyy’s claims of lines slowing down or freezing in this month we are witnessing the opposite, Kurakhovo is a relative big place and Russia is capturing smaller villages on a daily basis with little or small resistance, the picture is the same all around, Russian force engulf villages around larger places and creates a semi circle or cauldron from which the lay siege to the places until they collapse, sometime it takes several weeks but as long as Ukraine are not willing to defend the flanks the picture will stay the same and Zelenskyy’s talks about the lines stopping this month are just talks because Trump is taking over this month, purely wishful thinking from Zelenskyy Imo.

Now I wanna state that I want peace but one that reflects the situation on the battlefield, I also want to normalise the relation with the Russians after the war AFTER a cooldown period that will happend out of respect to Ukraine but I understand my views might go against many others so I hope you can respect my views Just as I respect yours even if we disagree, this was all I had to share this time, as something new I wanna try and share this post on Reddit, I get my news mostly from Alexander Mercouris and Alex Christoforou from the Duran, but also others places and people, I try and stay informed and I also speculate abit so take that in mind when reading, take care until next time!
