There are two main reasons why the West wants a freeze, firstly its because it means that can prepare Ukraine and build it up militarily and then restart the war once they feel ready for it, that is ofc quite simple and therefor Russia is ofc opposed to this idea cause it would solve nothing but extend the war at a later date, perhaps even tipping the scale a bit. Now the other reason for a freeze is to maintain the polarizing effect, to keep Russia as this big other, the enemy and thus help maintain sanctions and a hard stance towards them which could hurt Russia in the long term, perhaps more in the short turn. My reason is that Russia has changed it trading partners alot by trading with the Global south, this ofc is still undergoing so it could take some time to switch more trade over to the Global South in case of more Russian sanctions, so in case of long term I think Russia could handle it but in short turn it would feel some pressure, how much I don’t know, I understand to little of market dynamics and effects of Sanctions.

The best way out of this conflict is a lasting peace, a peace where the Security Framework Between not only Ukraine and Russia is stamped out but also between EU and Russia, this would ensure peace and prosperity for all parties, even if I admit there will be a short Cooling period against Russia no matter what. But a Security Framework that spells out what the rules are would secure a lasting peace, USA, I claim would not want this, they desire a freeze and a constant pressure and polarizing effect that would hurt Russia. This is my view at least and one just have to look around places USA has been, Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Libya, Somalia and many more to see what USA desire, they want instability if they cant control it, and the places they have tried to control has failed and turned into a dysfunktionel countries and cities ruled by Mob rule.

I want peace and therefor I also want a lasting one, one where all the Security Framework has been agreed upon by all so we can once and for all say goodbye to war, there will always be small interferences by everyone but we must avoid War again, War must go away, same in China and Taiwan. We had a relative peace full period in Europa and I want that back, no more sanctions and wars, spending large on military and less on social area’s, they admit they are comming for the Pensions in EU:
