I’ve been away from home for a few days and I have missed the Syria conflict which ended very fast, in fact so fast it surprised everyone which was the outcome USA/Israel/Turkey wanted, opposite Iran/Russia who both wanted stability and Syria to keep the West from trying to create another front against Russia which this is also still some of the themes.

Iran ofc has been isolate from direct land conflict because of their geological location but with the removal of Assad the future is uncertain for Syria and Iran, Israel has taken some land in the south/South-West to create a buffer zone, some said they are perhaps aiming for some more but we will see what happens. Turkey want some territory in the north/North-West but how much I don’t know, they are the ones who has been arming the former Al-Qaeda militia who now are mercenaries for hire and Israel with USA and Turkey has planned this attack very suddenly and it is rumored that Israel said GO! to turkey to the send in the relative small force who imploded Syrian Government and military very fast, there was no will to defend it and there is a rumor the Assad’s Wife is very sick and that he has been busy with that rather than running the country for some time to much frustration to Iran and Russia who wanted Assad to mend with Turkey but he refused all talks constantly and now we see the result.

Now Russia has a base or two in the north but I don’t know if they plan to stay long term but so far they seem to be wanting to see some stability in Syria and so too does the Kurds, I have been following the Kurds abit cause they have alot of left leaning people and after the attack on Kurds in France by a crazy right-winger who made a terrorist attack on several prominent Kurds leftist. Kurds has long time been seeking independence but they understand very well atm that this is not the time because so many things could happen, so instead they show the Syrian color and also its because they atm have autonomy over their own school system and infrastructure in large area’s inside Syria in the east and a few spots to the north near Turkey which is why there are tensions between Kurds and Turks hence why Kurds are holding their breath in regards to Turkey’s territory ambition inside Syria.

Everything is touch and go atm, rumor is Israel perhaps wants a larger zone that just a buffer and Iran lies to the east of Syria if I’m not mistaken and that means Israel would like a highway straight towards Iran so they can threaten them by land and not only by air force and missiles. Israel and USA has bombed every military installation in Syria after the fall of Assad cause they wanna control their mercenaries and make sure they dont have a strong army, they basically benefit from a dysfunctional government while Russia and Iran wants a stable one but only time will tell what we will get. I hope Kurds will remain untouched by the Turks and Israel and hope they at least get to keep their autonomy in Kurdistan and other small area’s. If anything big happens I will return to this topic in the near future.
