Not unexpected Donald Trump has filled his war cabinet with Neo-Cons, only difference is that these are more focused on China as a threat to USA and not Russia, which could mean that Trump will seek some kind of deal to end the conflict, one of the way speculated by many people is that they will hold elections and that will mean that Zelenskyy will lose his current position and someone new will become president and this will allow for a new direction aka peace.
