Lets just quickly take a look on the election results, Kamala Harris got 68.000000 votes which resulted in her getting 47.5% of the votes and secured her 223 electoral points, Trump got 72.700.000 votes which gave him 50.8% of the votes and 294 points and 270 is enough to secure the election.

It’s surprising to many that Trump got the majority vote, many ( including me) thought he would at most repeat the 2016 and get several million less but perhaps would win some of the very important swing states, but no one thought that Trump would take the majority vote like he did.

This has also had the effect that the republicans has taken control off the Senate with 52 seats and 50 is enough to get the majority. This is huge for the republicans and really bad for the Democrats and there is even uncertainty in regards to the House of Representatives where Trump and the republicans has 208 against 189 by the democrats but 218 is needed so there is still a question who will control the House but it is certain that the Senat now is controlled by a small margin of 52 out of needed 50 seats.

Im very sure that there will be a battle for the uncertain seats in the House and both sides will accuse each other for manipulation and cheating but we just have to wait a few days before it will be clear what colour the House will become, this is very important for the Democrats or else the Republicans would sweep that election and take the majority control of the Senate as well as the House.

In a few days I will try and comment on why the democrats failed but for now I will let things take a turn and see what the end result of it all is before I make some comment on how they lost like they did.
