It should not be a surprise when a Social Democrat focuses on the most vulnerable in society but somehow Mette Frederiksen is re-branding her self after the opening speech lately, I have always said that you need to be able to master the very top in politics and also the people struggling at the very bottom of Society, I have used Brazil’s Lula Da Silva as a good example because he master the geo-political and he has also taken upon him self to help the poorest people in Brazil and if you can master these 2 then everything in-between will be easy to handle, this is at least my position.

Now Mette Frederiksen is reaching out to the weakest in our Society and that ofc should be met with some positive comment even if I really dont like her. The government she has help set up is abysmal and is only saved because of really good financial years which has saved this government despite bad polling data by Mette Frederiksen, some of the worst in 100 years, to top it off the Moderates has just been through media hell after dysfunctional and toxic internal party atmosphere but you have to credit Lars Løkke Rasmussen in a way cause there is no one else who can survive such harsh critique in media and still manage to stay on his feet, he should be called a cockroach cause no matter how hostile the political environment is he seems to stay on two legs.

But the timing to focus on the more soft topics and social issues could be Mette Frederiksen trying to align her self abit with the red block in order to get more power in the current government, the 2 right winged parties understand very well that Mette Frederiksen really wants to be the head of State next sommer cause from the sommer to winter Denmark will receive the Chairmanship of the commissions, the position changes country every 6 month and sommer 2025 it will be Denmark for 6 month and it is always the Head of State who gets that position, atm it is Hungary’s leader Victor Orban who has it until vinter, it dosent give direct power but she gets to push our what topics and narrative that there should be focused on and I can guarantee that this is what Mette Frederiksen wants so she can travel around Europa and perhaps also the world in a kind of official capacity for EU. But the 2 right winged parties ofc understand this and is really milking her and I am sure that considering the horrible media focus on the moderates, one of the 2 right winged parties in Government, then Mette Frederiksen is trying to pivot towards the left and she can do this with soft issues and social issues as she is doing now, she has even been called a Chameleon because she has just changed colors to red (left Winged) now even if she has been blue (right winged) for some time cause she is so ambitious and wants some big post, the Chairmanship is what she targets at now and she will pivot to the left if this government falls because of the scandals of the Moderate and the Cockroach Lars Løkke Rasmussen. The rumor is also that the right wingers believe they can create a totally blue block government but the scandals atm is opening op an opportunity for Mette Frederiksen to gain a stronger position and she is even reaching out to the red block imo by showing of red colors now.

Now I am not a fan of her but she did do better after she failed in getting the Nato General Secretary but her ambitions has resulted is the removal of 1 holiday from the workers and reforms to our educational system and also given tax breaks to the rich, all of which are strong right winged position but Mette has both her hands dirty in those topics and cases, now she changes to the red block and that is ofc welcome but dosent undo all the crap she has been behind because of her ambition, I would love the red block to positioning them selves very strongly so that if we get a red block government with Mette Frederiksen then it should be a government where the red parties are dragging Mette Frederiksen to the center left instead of center right or straight right winged political issues, we should use her own big ambition against her, at least to some level but I fear the red block parties with be manipulated and out classed when it comes to power games or just narrative and political issues.

I will not like it with Mette Frederiksen as the head of state in a red block, she align her self hard with USA and especially the Democrats who are right wingers compared to European standard but many people dosent seem to grasp this simple fact, Obama and branding has turned and pushed everything towards the center and even center right in some issues.
