For the last few days Russia has finally begun reversing the Kursk situation and they are now trying to push the Ukrainian back but it will take some time to do so but Russia does not wanna be force to anything atm since they are in a strong winning position, especially in the eastern Donbass area, there are alot of Russian who wants a stronger respond’s to not only Kursk, but also the big drone strike by Ukraine lately which also hit in Moscow, but Putin is being very patient and shows restraint considering the desire from hardliners to be more aggressive and to make bigger retaliation strike which Russia actually did in Poltava where they manage to hit a location with many foreign trainers and officers, some say it was a gathering about learning more about the special AWAC’s airplane Sweden has donation and that they were educating alot of Ukrainian people which sadly got hit by cruise missile’s, the casualty figures is from 55 dead up towards 700! but without having any evidence to base the numbers on then perhaps around 100 is a conservative guess, dead and wounded that is.

Now Ukraine wants to escalate the war and responds from Russia is order to make it easier to pressure the West and USA into a more direct involvement, but that is ofc risking a 3rd world war which we should avoid at all cost, but Ukraine has been asking for more long range missiles but USA says that are running out and dont have the opportunity to donate anyone atm and you could hear that Lloyd Austin was hesitant in his reply, it was not what Ukraine wanted to hear but these missiles require satellite guidance relay by USA to Ukraine which makes USA more directly involved and that is ofc an issue for sure.

Imaging 10 cruise missiles hitting civilian targets in Moscow, the outcry by the Russians people would force a hard responds and perhaps escalation and if they do that then Ukraine may be successful in drawing more countries into the war and risking world Ward 3, but as long as Putin can show restraint then he can avoid more Western Involvement cause then the West will look like the ones starting world war 3 or risking it and no one wants that.

The casualty numbers for August is over 2000 a day dead and wounded, which is abit more than June and July who together had 115.000 dead and wounded, these numbers are too high for Ukraine to deal with, no one can sustain such high casualty numbers and Ukraine claimed a while ago that they got 1000 new soldiers every month but those numbers were very likely inflated and Ukraine is also now admitting it is harder to recruit people and the morale for the Ukrainian soldier is in a record low.

There has been a little activity in the Kherson region but for now we are not hearing what it is about and any thing at all, but a new front again will be devastating for Ukraine since they are now fighting in 5 fronts after Kursk was started and Russia is pushing hard atm and are moving forward, some day very slow and other days with speed depending on where it is.

Ukraine wants to try and use the Kursk area in negotiations but Russia want none of this, they regards Kursk as an annoying thing to deal with but none the less one that they easily can get back after some time, so even as Russia says they are always open to talk but that it has to reflect the situation in the front lines and here Russia has a commanding position with huge attrition warfare, mixed with some hard pushes.

Ukraine lost their first F-16 pilot and airplane while he was shooting down missiles and drones over a week ago, no one has explained what lead to the crash of the F-16 so we dont really know why he crashed, he was trained in Denmark and as far as I understand we have good pilots and trainers, we have people training USA pilots in the F-35 in USA so our trainers cant be the result of the crash, I dont believe they would let him fly to Ukraine before they felt sure he could fly the airplane well.

Iran has lately traded short range missiles in exchange for a few Russian anti air defense which ofc has angered USA and the West but there is nothing elligal about it and it makes sense for both, my position on Iran is that they are no threat to USA and thus should be left largely alone but encourage a more moderate stance once USA stops having a desire to bomb and destroy Iran. Imo it is exactly because of the extreme pressure from USA and hostility towards Iran that enable’s Iran to have a more conservative and stronger position towards USA and some western Members. Take a look at North and South Korea, both of them uses the border tension to have a pretty strong social control, that is very evident in north Korea and also in South Korea where EVERYONE gets enlisted in the army even famous Football players sometimes, so they both uses the tension to be able to conduct a harsh control and way of living, most will agree that North Korea is the worst but South also has some issues but it shows in other ways.

Anyway this was my update on abit of everything in Ukraine and there is alot more going on like a rotation in Ukraine leadership and even rumour that General Syrssky will be sacrificed and used as a fall guy for the horrible situation in the Donbass front but time will tell i they will use him as the guy to take the blame, instead of Zelenskyy who has a huge part in all of this.
