It’s clear for anyone who follows the war closely that the Kursk invasion was first and foremost an attempt to get to the Nuclear power plant so they could hold it as hostage, further more it was conducted to remove focus from the 4 main front lines in eastern Donbass so that the media has something more possitive to talk about and lastly a hope that the incursion would force Russia to move troops from the northern line near Krakov to the Sumy and Kursk region.

Now they failed in reaching the Nuclear Power plant but in all fairness they did created alot of confusion and skirmish style raid into Kursk that has made the Russian move troops from the Krakov, we learned this from the Group of north who has been reporting from the Krakov but now report from the Kursk also, so they did give some relief to the eastern Donbass but the big question is: Did they pee in their pants in order to feel warm? Meaning was it all for nothing, a distraktion that yet has to produce anything of value, if or when Ukraine tries to create defensive lines then we will see the true impact from Ukraine and if it is all for nothing cause I fear once the smoke and mirrors effect go away then they have not done much other than pee in their pants to feel warm temporary.

Now Alexander mercouris from the Duran said that Russia and Ukraine were close to make a deal making the electrical net a safe zone but I have not seen this confirmed in any place other than his video, but the story goes that because of the incursion then the deal felt to the group. Who bennefittet from that deal the most I dunno but it sounded good for Ukraine imo but anyway this was only speculation and not confirmed.

Now more worrysome then Germany has announced it is running out of money and that weapons package later this year is the finel from Germany as it simple does not have any more money and has to also focus on it self in order not to extend an already growing financiel crisis which has helped fulfilled the AFD and therefor its a question about survival for Olaf Scholz and his party. It’s odd and weird that the Leak from Rand Corperation just before the war broke out that it predicted that the Greens Analena Baerbok would be so hardline zealots for ther war and wouldnt see the sinking of the German industry before it was too late, that prediction was spot on and also sad that the Greens in Germany was so focused on the war that they neglected their own people, I am sure other countries will slowly admit to the same fate and announce lower financiel aid and weapon package because many are showing signs of war fatique and Germany is the first to say so.

The election could also have an impact if Donald Trump get’s elected but for now its still close and we need some debates to get a real sense where the two stands. It’s odd that people can only use financiel reasons before they think about a possible peacedeal but this seems to be the case for now, I had though tht with the current condition in the Eastern Donbass was enough for peopel to see where this war is headed and no a skirmish into Kursk and some media propaganda will not fool anyone other than those who wants to be fooled.

Im devided on the Kursk situation cause it does have had a small effect but I fear its is like pissing your self to get some warmth on the short end but after that it could be yet another front Ukraine has to defend besides the 4 big front atm where Russia is pushing hard and taking villages every single day and sometimes the distance they gain is far and some days abit lower but none the less the casualty numbers are horrendous and even as the casualty of the armored vehicles in the donbass has been low then in kursk it has seem very high, amongh the highest in the war so far and not good for Ukraine who has finaly used some Challenger 2 tanks in Kursk but still holding them back in other places.

Regarding the propaganda then the are telling a story’s that say russia is scared and was shocked, how important these attacks are but like I have said, this looks more like pissing their own pants just to risk of making them selves a trap for Ukraine them selves, an exstra front for Russia to push on as soon as Ukraine tries to create a defensive line in Kursk then we will see who really are in control and are pushing, my bet is that ones the chaos and skirmish style stops then Russia will be on top of it all and all the media will looks elsewhere for some optimisme.
