So the media in the west are all talking about the incursion which was one of the goals, not the only goal but with 115.000 dead or wounded in 2 month then this incursion has moved the focus but even as they didnt get to the nuclear power plant ,which was also a goal, then Ukraine has created something positive to talk abut in the media and I hear stories of 44 villages captured in the Sumy and Kursk region, now I wanna point our that these numbers are possibly very inflated and the numbers probably includes many contested villages and so on.

That said then it does fill the media with some positivity but for me it all comes down to if they can keep this new front with the initiative which could give some air to the other 4 fronts were Russia has the initiative, but if Russia manage to get the control back and also the initiative in the Kurst and Sumy region then all Ukraine has done is to open op another front they have to defend cause now they have committed and this front is here to stay so Ukraine has to be the pushing part even if it goes slow cause else the casualty numbers will increase even more and yesterday Alexander mercouris mentioned that Ukraine has lost 1500 men dead or wounded along alot of armored vehicles in the Kursk and Sumy alone, this number has to be added with the numbers from 4 big front so this incursion could hit Ukraine like a boomerang if they lose the initiative but for now lets wait for report later today and tomorrow before we conclude anything yet.
