Lately the story from the war has been the high daily deathtoll, we have heard around 1500-2000 daily casualties in a weeks time and acording to tass (russian news agency) then june casuatry was abit over 30.000 which is alot but i fear july will be much worse if it keeps escalating.

Zelensky firstly indirectly admittet to high losses by saying Ukraine is recruiting 5000 men every day, but this is just number playing cause if it only last for 10 days then it will only be around 50.000 compared to the rumour of 100.000 they have called in during a 3-4 month period, but Zelenskyy has since his last statement admittet to having high casualty numbers so at least he came honest in the end.

Now the Ukrainian Offensive which we have heard about for a couple of weeks has died down and acordin to Mercouris then it is because of the massive losses lately and hence the plans seems to be put aside for the moment at least. Now Alexander Mercouris also said that the situation in the west of Avdaevka area is grimm, there is an operational crises for Ukraine and there is a small breach of the strongest part of the defensive lines and that the breach is growing as we speak and Ukraine are trowing in alot of men to stop the breach from getting out of control. Its hard for me to be more precieze on where it is, other than west of the Avdaevka area.

Ukraine has kopied Russia and are now taking convicts and sending them to the front, let us hope they give them more training than russia did at the battle of Bakhmut early on.

Now Ukraine also fired a general lately and there are also rumour of criticism of general Syrsky but as Mercouris pointet out he only does what he is told and follows orders without having his own openion about it, but maybe thats what they are angry about, who knows.

Now Alexander Mercouris shared some numbers on the frontline, he says Russia has 500.000 at the front in total all across the lines and Ukraine has 300.000, but how many reserves there is I have no idea other than Russia has more IMO.

Now Russia has a different structure and their military industry is run by the state while the west has contractors and many private firms involved and this is a huge benefit to Russia cause they kan produce a shell amunition to around 1000 dollars whereas the cost in the west is 4-5 times bigger at around 4-5000 dollars per shell. Clearly privatizing the military industriel production has alot of disadvantages includin innovation which Russia also excel in , take the latest rumour that Russia shot down 8 Patriot missiles after launch in the krakhov area. If true the Patriot miasile would again have to be reinventet like the HI-Mars who also are boardering on beeing obsolete.

But the focus atm is the very high deathtoll numbers which are over 1000 if nok 1500-2000 sometimes and the july casualties will be alot higer than the 30.000+ we had in june even without any big offenses, so even if people claim its equal and the lines are locked then the daily reports says otherwise, villages beeing taken everyday and encirclement of larger villages/small citys and Russia moving forward everyday slow but steady using attrition tactics and now an operationel crisis west of Avdaevka for Ukraine.
