I saw a commen by someone who made a point that the french snap election reminded abit like the one that Theresa May did in UK, she was having bad polls and decided to gamble with an earlie election and was hopeing or even counting on getting the support she needed, but to many’s surprize she lost the power and Brexit happend.

Emmanuel Macron has just made a similar thing following a bad poll he has called for a snap election and it is again a gamble where he counts on the fear of and shock that Marine Le Pen got a really good poll and vote. It’s not unlike the last election in France where after a couple of rounds with multiple parties they cut it down to the usual 2 which is the way France do it, Marnie Le Penn scares people so they vote on a Neo-Liberal like Emmanuel Macron while Emmanuel Macron angers alot of people and therefore Marine Le Penn also get’s alot of votes, in a weird way they have some weird symbiose where they in a weird way help each other and this is what Macron hopes for, that the left and more social leaning people will be afraid of Marine and vote for Macron again.

How do you break this dumb deadlock? Choise between the lesser of two evils like in USA, The Double Blackmail? From my view the left in France should do all it can to get to be the 2. biggest party and hope that the scare of Marine Le Pen will make the Macron voters vote left and that is the only way, usually the left in France is like 30% of the voters which is alot if we understand that many of them are rather far left, but its the only way, the other two choises are a deadlock where the people of French looses no matter who they vote for.

Now what I thought was interresting and scary is that Marine Le Pen hates EU and if she where to come to power it is not unlikely she would like to try and get their own version of Brexit, but my friend pointet out that the Brexit has been really bad for UK and thus it perhaps would prevent Marine Le pen to go for the actually EU exit since it would be really bad financielly for France, but it was a nice point someone made online that there are actually similarities and remember no one expectet the Brexit just like no one would exspect a French version of it, I hope for the left even if I think there has been to many violent demonstrations in Frnace but a police man out right shooting a young protester in the head was insane and create the toxic atmosphere but it should be avoided.
